Stylus Replacement Recommendations

Since the stylus is constantly rubbing against the record grooves to read the record information, it will be worn to varying degrees after 300-400 hours of use. When you find that the sound is fuzzy, the sound details are reduced, and it is unclear, you should consider replacing the stylus with a new one.

How to maintain the cartridge/needle?

1. Clean the cartridge, needle and record surface dust regularly;
2. Use a disc weight to suppress the vibration of the turntable;
3. Avoid direct contact with the needle to cause damage;
4. Put on the needle protective cover when not in use.

Judge whether your turntable can use this cartridge?

Cartridge fixing hole distance: 13mm
Most vinyl record players on the market currently use MM cartridges. This cartridge from Audio-Technica is basically universal. You just need to confirm whether it can be fixed to the tonearm stand.

Cartridge Debugging Method

1. Adjust the cartridge VTA
2. Adjust the tonearm level
3. Adjust the cartridge needle pressure
4. Adjust the turntable speed

Warm Tips

In addition to damage caused by careless operation, excessive needle pressure, poorly made records and severe turntable shake shorten the life of the needle tip. The bald needle tip has a larger radius of curvature, which reduces the ability of the needle to track high-frequency signals in the sound groove.
